Along the way you'll take in the incomparable sights of Washington in the springtime from a perspective rarely seen by visitors or natives. From the stately mansions of Generals' Row in Ft. McNair, the homes of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to the urban chic of Old Town Alexandria, VA, to the soaring architecture of Cesar Pelli's new terminal at National Airport, you'll experience the historic sweep of this unique city archly described by JFK as combining "Southern efficiency and Northern charm." Be sure to visit one of the outdoor decks as we head back upriver for an unparalleled sunset panorama of the DC skyline stretching from the Gothic marvels of National Cathedral eastward to the familiar Washington Monument and US Capitol.

Pier 4 is conveniently located at 6th and Water Streets, SW., 2 1/2 blocks from the Waterfront-SEU Metro stop on the Green Line.
