CHERRY 9 Weekend kicks off with a bang, taking you back to the site of disco’s birth in Washington. Formerly known as Pier 9, Club Ten has reopened with modern flare and is the perfect setting to begin your weekend of transformation. Cherry showcases a venue of historical significance, a cornerstone of DC nightlife. East Coast meets West Coast as New York City and Los Angeles DJs come ready to captivate. Los Angeles composer turned DJ, Chris Wren, will set the night off with a sexy flare for tribal beats and progressive undertones. A true slave to vinyl, Chris will have the dance floor in a frenzy by the time New York City master DJ Chad Jack takes over. There is no doubt Chad will be giving the crowd a set filled with deep house beats and unique style of layering tracks which have come to define his style. From Detroit to New York, and countless cities in between, Chad has proven his superb talents as a DJ, as well as a remixer. Our DJs will not be alone in their mission to dazzle you— theatrical performance artist, Sauci Bernaise, joins our Friday night line-up with the sass and energy that has made her so highly sought after.
