Our evening events and receptions are a great way to raise funds for our programs while advocating for the HIV/AIDS service community.  Receptions and evening events range from simple beer bars to large scale donor events.

AIDS Walk Washington is a 5K fundraising walk and timed run benefiting and produced by Whitman-Walker Clinic. Whitman-Walker Clinic is a non-profit community-based health organization which provides dependable, high-quality, comprehensive and accessible health care to those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.  Join us we raises fund for HIV/AIDS prevention, education, and treatment!

Stand Up for CHERRY
Thursday, October 7th / Topaz Bar / 1733 N Street, NW / 8-10 PM / $3 Donation

Come join us for an evening of comedy at Topaz Bar, one of DC's trendiest lounges.  Ten local standup comedians will perform 10 minute sets for a night of pure laughter. 

Afterwards join us for:  "Everybody's A Comedian™" Joke Contest.  If that isn't enough comedy for you!  After every show, audience members have a chance to win the highly coveted "I was very brave" sticker, $25 cash, a free beer and 2 tickets to a future Saturday show at the Bethesda, MD Hyatt Regency Hotel by participating in our “Everybody’s A Comedian™" joke contest.  

Get up on stage and tell one brief joke – any joke, internet joke, knock knock joke, passed down through your family from your great uncle joke… please, no long stories.
